GRAPHIC DESIGN
#2 - Does your business needs a facelift?

Does it need design that grabs attention, is memorable and leads to sales?

You have 4 options:

Option 1 – Do it yourself. Saves money but risk having average designs.

Option 2 – Find a freelancer. Also a cost effective option, but spend hours finding the right one, risk potential communication and quality issues.

Option 3 – Hire an in-house designer. Spend time vetting for the correct designer and receive high quality designs. However you’ll be adding a minimum of 5-6k/month to your overheads.

Option 4 – Delegate your designs to Delesign. A team of skilled graphic designers, already vetted for you. Have a designer work as part of your team for as long as you need at 1/5th the cost, with design turnaround times of 24 hours.

IBRAHIM’S NUGGETS

Heyy!

One thing that I can never stop thinking about—funnels. Your acquisition funnel is the bedrock of your brand. In fact, it can make or break your business. Exactly why, when you're just starting out, you need to have a damn good funnel.

Today, I’ll share a brief guide to funnels.

A great funnel has 7 components:

  1. A killer offer

  2. Social Proof

  3. Shop Sections

  4. FAQ

  5. 1P Data Capture

  6. F-Shaped UX

  7. Accent Elements

If you properly hone all of the above, then the road ahead is paved with gold (and Shopify "cha-ching!" notiifciations).

  1. Your KILLER Offer should be extremely simple.

    • It should be so simple that a drunk person could understand it

  2. Social Proof comes in many forms.

    • Customer reviews, magazine articles, TikTok vids, the list goes on

    • They say to your customer, "it's ok to buy from this brand, all these smart people did and they loved it!"

    • Be liberal with your social proof, reassure your customers often

  3. Shoppable sections should happen at least twice on your homepage.

    • For the first, focus on your best seller

    • The next should show off more of your products in a carousel/grid pattern

    • This is a great way to up AOV for someone coming to your site for just one product

  4. FAQs vary between products, but for CPG products, you need to at the very least answer all the questions below.

    • Not having a FAQ is the easiest way to lose a sale

    • Informed window-shoppers convert better than uniformed browsers with buying intent

  1. You're leaving money on the table if you're getting traffic, but not utilizing 1st Party data (the data that the customer itself gives it to you) capture.

    • But don't stop at email addresses

    • The more data you collect, the more you personalize your emails

    • In practice, this can be a quiz or simple form (see Love Wellness)

  1. You may have never heard of F Shaped UX.

  • But the main idea is that readers look horizontally, then up and down vertically, then horizontally again

  • This eye path forms the letter F

  • In the below image, follow the numbers and see what components are close to the eye line

  1. Accent elements give your brand a little bit of spice.

    • What will make your LP really POP?

    • Swap value props with benefits, replace words with icons, and create an image of an exciting brand

    • Shopify really nailed this with their "Supply" shop, look at the design flare

Alright folks, that’s it for today!
