Question from Suren (Owner): hi, I am just starting out, I ordered my samples from a manufacturer and waiting to receive it, should I start my Shopify store now while I wait or should I wait until I receive my sample. At this time I do not have proper pictures of the product yet.

My Response: You should definitely start working on your Shopify store until it arrives because there’s just so much work to do apart from just uploading product pictures.

Question from Akpan: I what to become million

My Response: I guess you meant to ask how to become a Millionaire? Well, I’m myself not a Millionaire yet, so can’t help you there. I’d appreciate it if the questions are related to DTC because that’s what I’m here to help with.

Email from DJB Carolinas: hi there! I read your newsletter everytime is hits my inbox. So I back tracked and found the info on email. I am just now starting a blog, 100perfectgifts.com at 72 years old and I am really enjoying it. But growth is slow, if you have tips, please share with me.

On your post it said you would breakdown the other flows in other editions, where may I find these please?

Also, I am developing digital products, but as an affiliate at the moment, not "selling" anything measurable as far as an abandoned cart like I used on e-commerce. Any recommendations for emails for affiliate marketers?  Many thanks!! Debbie

Coming to your question regarding growth on the blog’s side, it’s definitely challenging now, especially after the aggressive usage of AI, including Google’s AI search engine results, but blogs aren’t dead, so you got hope to do good!

Just remember that to grow a blog, you’ve gotta primarily take care of 2 things — Off-page SEO and On-page SEO. Off-page SEO is everything that you do within the blog that’s under your control such as having canonical URLs, etc. and Off-page SEO are things like getting backlinks from domains that are recognised, also known as high Domain Authority (DA) scores, etc.

Lastly, to answer your third question, if you’re building digital products of your own, highly recommend selling them on Gumroad instead of a platform such as Shopify. They don’t charge you anything to use their software, and you only pay them 10% on each sale of a product.
